Year 3 on Tour - London 2015
This Year we were lucky enough to have a trip to London. We got up really early to get the Red Jet to Southampton. Some of us were more awake than others! Some children got to work on their lunch by 8am!
We were all amazed by the size of the Palace of Westminster - it was massive!! Unfortunately we were not allowed to take any pictures as we were walking round. We had a brilliant time.
We had our own tour guide who told us all about the Houses of Parliament. We went into a room where the Queen waits when she visits and also saw lots of décor associated with Queen Victoria. We walked into the House of Commons and the House of Lords! After we left the Houses of Parliament we walked across to the London eye. Mr Andre and Miss Westbrook's Class went into Separate Pods. Everyone (including Mrs Williams!) was very brave!
The views from the London Eye were amazing! We were able to see lots of famous London Landmarks like Buckingham Palace, The Palace of Westminster and St. Pauls Cathedral.
